I have been struggling somewhat to arrange on a page and to express these thoughts that came to me yesterday. So forgive if I miss it a little, but better out than in. Well I have thoughts every day but this was today's version of head filler.
As I review the news the echo came to my mind about the Persian King Belshazzar who misused for his own ends what was supposedly sacred- the worship cups and tools of the temple. He was judged harshly for his blasphemy by hand writing appearing on the wall spelling out the words Mene Mene Tekel Peres Upharsin which was later deciphered (by Daniel) to mean numbered weighed out and found wanting.
Found Wanting in so many ways: Now people all over the nation are going around writing their own version of the 'found wanting' messages on the wall of cities everywhere. A wanna be tough guy king plays a president on TV. On his walk back from his misuse of religious space for a lip service was graffiti saying FU Trump. The writing on the wall. Amen? maybe.
